Our Journey

BBIA opens its doors to their first kindergarten in the suburbs of Budapest called Kids Kiosk.

Responding to increasing interest and demand, we proudly opened our second kindergarten, expanding our ability and capacity to support young learners at the very start of their educational journey.

Driver by our families’ aspirations for continuity and international education, we founded the Budapest British International Academy (BBIA) in the heart of Budapest, offering a British-based education rooted in academic excellence and global citizenship.

As BBIA continued to grow, we outgrew our original site and opened a second location dedicated to secondary students, ensuring space and resources matched our academic ambitions.

BBIA is honored to be a part of a founding partner of a joint venture school in Tianjin, China opening its first international campus.

BBIA secured and began renovating a brand-new 5,000 sqm campus, envisioned as a unifying home where primary and secondary students could learn and grow together in a state of the art campus.

The founders fulfil their dream of expanding into Belgrade, Serbia, their home country.
